Graphic Designer

• Key Responsibilities

1. Academic: PRT Computer Science Teacher (50% of time)

Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate computer science lessons covering basic hardware, software (MS Office/Google Workspace), and digital literacy.

• Introduction to Coding: Teach foundational logical thinking and block-based coding using gamified platforms like Scratch, Scratch Jr., or Code.org.
• Classroom & Lab Management: Maintain a disciplined, safe, and positive learning environment in the computer lab. Ensure proper handling of equipment.
• Digital Citizenship: Educate young learners on safe internet practices, cyber safety, and basic digital etiquette.
• Assessment: Evaluate student progress, maintain academic records, and participate in parent-teacher meetings.

2. Creative: Graphic Designer (50% of time)

• Marketing & social media: Design visually appealing graphics for the school’s social media handles (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), website, and digital newsletters.
• Print Media & Branding: Create layouts for school brochures, annual magazines, admission flyers, banners, event invitations, and certificates.
• Event Support: Design backdrops, ID cards, and promotional materials for school events, sports days, and exhibitions.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all internal and external visual communications strictly adhere to the school’s branding guidelines.
• Qualifications & Skills
• Education: * bachelor’s degree in computer science, BCA, B.Sc. (IT), or a B.Ed. with a tech background. OR A degree/diploma in Graphic Design/Fine Arts combined with a strong technical background.

Technical Skills:

• Design Tools: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva Pro.
• Educational Tech: Familiarity with primary-level coding tools (Scratch) and smartboard technology.

Soft Skills: Exceptional patience for dealing with young children, strong multitasking and time-management abilities, creative storytelling, and excellent communication skills.
