Job Description (JD) – Area Sales Manager (Home Loans)
Position: Area Sales Manager – Home Loans
Department: Sales & Business Development
Location: [Location]
Experience: 5–10 Years (Minimum 3–5 years in Home Loan/LAP Sales)
Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager
Role Purpose
To drive home loan business growth within the assigned territory by managing sales teams, developing channel partnerships, acquiring customers, and ensuring achievement of business targets while maintaining portfolio quality.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual home loan disbursement targets.
Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of Relationship Managers, Sales Officers, and Channel Managers.
Develop and manage relationships with builders, developers, DSAs (Direct Selling Agents), connectors, and real estate brokers.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration in the assigned geography.
Drive customer acquisition through direct sales, referrals, and channel partnerships.
Ensure high-quality sourcing and adherence to credit and compliance guidelines.
Monitor loan applications from login to disbursement and coordinate with credit, operations, and legal teams.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to formulate sales strategies.
Conduct regular sales reviews, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
Maintain portfolio health by minimizing delinquency and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Prepare MIS reports and provide business updates to management.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.
5–10 years of sales experience in Banking, NBFC, Housing Finance, or Mortgage industry.
Proven experience in Home Loans, Mortgage Loans, or Loan Against Property (LAP).
Strong network with builders, DSAs, and real estate channels.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Good understanding of home loan products, credit processes, and regulatory requirements.
