Statutory & Payroll Operations

Compliance Setup: Lead the initial government registration process for EPF (Provident Fund), ESIC, Professional Tax, and other mandatory statutory requirements for the newly established cafe.

Ongoing Compliance: Ensure accurate monthly calculation, challan generation, and timely filing for PF, ESIC, and all related labor law requirements.

End-to-End Payroll Management: Track daily staff attendance, shifts, leaves, and overtime. Process the monthly payroll from start to finish, including making direct salary disbursements to employee bank accounts.

Recruitment & HR Operations

End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the complete hiring lifecycle for Front-of-House (waiters, cashiers, baristas, managers) and Back-of-House (chefs, line cooks, cleaners) roles.

Sourcing Talent: Actively source reliable candidates using local job boards, hospitality networks, social media, and offline community channels.

Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial phone screens, evaluate culture fit, and coordinate in-person interviews or practical trials with the management team.

Onboarding: Handle all joining paperwork, ensure bank accounts are properly linked for payroll, issue uniforms, and organize orientation schedules before a new hire's first shift.

Employee Relations: Act as the primary, trusted point of contact for staff regarding salary queries, leave balances, or workplace grievances.
