Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Hub Operations ManagementOversee daily hub operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.Ensure timely sorting, scanning, and dispatch of packages.Maintain smooth workflow and minimize delays.Delivery Team ManagementSupervise delivery associates and hub staff.Prepare daily duty rosters and allocate delivery routes.Monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline.Shipment & Inventory ControlEnsure accurate receipt, sorting, and dispatch of shipments.Track undelivered, returned (RTO), damaged, and missing shipments.Maintain inventory accuracy for parcels and hub assets.Performance MonitoringMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:On-Time Delivery (OTD)First Attempt Delivery RateReturn-to-Origin (RTO) percentageDelivery Success RateHub productivityTake corrective actions to improve performance.Customer ServiceResolve customer complaints related to deliveries.Coordinate with customer support teams for escalations.Ensure high customer satisfaction.Quality & ComplianceEnsure adherence to company SOPs and operational guidelines.Conduct regular audits of scanning, documentation, and processes.Maintain compliance with safety and security standards.Team Training & DevelopmentTrain new employees on hub processes and delivery procedures.Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.Promote teamwork and continuous improvement.Resource & Asset ManagementManage delivery equipment, handheld devices, and hub infrastructure.Coordinate vehicle availability and maintenance.Ensure proper utilization of manpower and resources.Reporting & DocumentationPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.Analyze operational data and identify improvement opportunities.Maintain accurate records of shipments, attendance, and expenses.Coordination with StakeholdersCoordinate with regional operations managers, transport teams, vendors, and clients.Ensure timely communication regarding operational issues and resolutions.Required SkillsLeadership and team managementStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProblem-solving and decision-makingTime management and planningKnowledge of logistics and supply chain operationsData analysis and reporting (Excel, WMS/TMS, logistics software)Customer service orientationKey
