Field Sales Manager - (LME/Mumbai)
Role Overview
Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Sales Manager - eBooks to drive the adoption and growth of Lippincott Medical Education (LME) eBooks and AI-enabled digital learning platforms across medical, nursing institutions and universities
This role focuses on institutional sales growth, key account management, and digital transformation, working closely with academic leadership to deliver scalable, future-ready learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue through new acquisitions and retention of key institutional accounts
- Manage 30–40 academic accounts across Medical, Nursing, and universities.
- Promote and sell eBooks, LME platform, and AI-powered learning tools
- Lead product demos, faculty workshops, and student onboarding
- Engage with librarians, principals, deans, and faculty on digital adoption
- Build long-term pipelines and multi-year institutional contracts
- Work with channel partners for smooth institutional execution
- Maintain accurate forecasts and updates in SFDC (CRM)
- Track market trends and competitor activity
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in sales and business development, with a proven track record in digital sales and transformation.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Strategic Initiative Management: Developing and leading high-impact sales initiatives.
- Strong exposure to medical / nursing / health sciences institutions
- Proven success in digital / subscription sales and key account management
- Comfortable engaging with senior academic stakeholders
- Proficiency in SFDC, MS Office, and forecasting
- Willingness to travel 50–60% within the assigned region
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
