About the Company:

We are a reputed tile and stone business, specializing in high-quality products and services. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage our financial operations, GST compliance, and tax-related work with a strong sense of ownership.

Job Responsibilities:

Complete handling of accounting operations, including day-to-day entries, ledger management, and finalization of accounts.

Full knowledge and independent filing of GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and resolving related issues.

Preparation and filing of Income Tax returns, TDS compliance, and other statutory filings.

Manage invoicing, billing, and collection tracking.

Prepare and analyze financial reports, stock reports, and profitability statements.

Proficient in calculating tile and stone quantities based on size, area, and units such as sq. ft., sq. meters, etc.

Maintain proper documentation of stock movement, inward/outward entries, and vendor records.

Handle banking operations such as payments, deposits, bank reconciliations, and loan compliance.

Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government departments as needed.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a trading or construction-related business.

Sound knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance.

Proficiency in area and size calculations (sq. ft., sq. meter, etc.) for tile/stone sales.

Ability to independently manage accounting tasks without frequent follow-ups.

Strong working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, Busy, or other ERP systems.

High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Prior experience in a tile, stone, or construction materials business will be highly preferred.
