Job Summary

Spark Pathshala is looking for a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to educate and inspire students through engaging lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and related subjects. The ideal candidate should be committed to creating an interactive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, curiosity, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver Social Science lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.

Teach subjects including History, Geography, Civics, and Environmental Studies as applicable.

Develop lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and assessments.

Use innovative teaching methods, activities, and digital tools to enhance student engagement.

Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and classroom participation.

Maintain accurate academic records and progress reports.

Provide individual support and guidance to students as needed.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.

Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and academic activities.

Collaborate with fellow teachers and management to improve learning outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, or related field.

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) preferred.

1–3 years of teaching experience in a school or coaching institute.

Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.

Ability to simplify concepts and make learning interactive.

Proficiency in classroom management and student engagement techniques.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital teaching tools.
