Role Overview
We are looking for a Travel Consultant / Tour Coordinator to handle customer travel requirements, including itinerary planning, bookings, and coordination. The role requires good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage travel arrangements efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer travel requirements and provide suitable travel options
- Plan and suggest domestic and/or international travel itineraries
- Handle bookings for flights, hotels, transport, and tour packages
- Coordinate with vendors, airlines, and hotels for confirmations
- Provide accurate information on travel schedules, pricing, and policies
- Assist customers with changes, cancellations, and travel-related queries
- Maintain booking records and customer details
- Ensure timely follow-ups and a smooth customer experience
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (Travel & Tourism preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in travel agency or tourism-related role
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of travel booking processes (flights, hotels, packages)
- Familiarity with booking tools/portals (e.g., airline portals, IRCTC, or similar)
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, email communication)
- Problem-solving ability for travel changes and issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
