Accountant

An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting the organization's financial operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ledgers.
• Prepare and record invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance reports (as applicable).
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Generate MIS reports and financial statements.
• Maintain payroll records and coordinate salary processing.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and banks for financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data confidentiality.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Min. 3 years of accounting experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
