Job Description
Breakfast cook
Responsible for preparing and serving breakfast meals efficiently, maintaining taste, hygiene, and consistency for daily operations (especially in high-volume environments like student mess or canteen).
Skills & Requirements
Experience in breakfast cooking (mess/canteen preferred).
Ability to cook in large quantities.
Basic knowledge of gas stove / commercial kitchen equipment.
Time management (fast-paced work).
Understanding of hygiene practices.
Early morning availability (4:30 AM ).
Key Responsibilities
Prepare breakfast Maharashtrian and South Indian along with snacks item.
Ensure food is ready on time (usually early morning service).
Maintain consistency in taste, portion, and quality.
Handle bulk cooking.
Manage basic prep work (cutting, soaking, batter preparation).
Ensure cleanliness of kitchen, utensils, and work area.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
Monitor raw material usage and avoid wastage.
Coordinate with helpers and serving staff.
