Job Description

Canteen Staff – Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages.
  • Keep the kitchen, serving area, and dining area clean.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and food safety at all times.
  • Wash utensils and kitchen equipment after use.
  • Store food properly and avoid wastage.
  • Refill food and supplies when required.
  • Help customers politely and respectfully.
  • Report any safety, hygiene, or equipment issues to the supervisor.
  • Follow all company safety and hygiene rules.
  • Work as a team and complete assigned duties on time.



Canteen Chef – Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals as per the daily menu.
  • Ensure food is fresh, safe, and of good quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Follow FSSAI food safety and personal hygiene standards.
  • Plan food quantities to minimize wastage.
  • Check and maintain stock of raw materials.
  • Ensure proper storage of food (FIFO).
  • Supervise and guide kitchen helpers/canteen staff.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and report any breakdowns.
  • Follow all company health, safety, and hygiene guidelines
