Job Description
Key responsibilities
Design and develop tools, dies, fixtures, and product components.
- Prepare 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CATIA, Creo, or SolidWorks.
- Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and GD&T standards in design.
- Prepare and release production drawings and documentation.
- Implement engineering design changes and revisions.
- Coordinate with production, tool room, and quality teams for design execution.
- Support tool trials, design validation, and product development activities.
- Ensure designs meet manufacturing feasibility, quality, and cost requirements.
- Required skillsCATIA / Creo / SolidWorks
- Tool and product design
- DFM (Design for Manufacturability)
- GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- 2D & 3D drawing preparation
- Drawing release process
- Design modifications and engineering changes
- Manufacturing process knowledge
- Preferred candidate profile5-6 years of experience in tool design, product design, or manufacturing design.
- Experience in tooling, fixtures, dies, molds, or precision manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
