Job Description
- Job Role:Manage inventory of all EV components (battery, motor, controller, charger, spare parts)
- Handle purchase of raw materials and components from vendors
- Ensure timely availability of parts for production and service
- Maintain stock records, inward/outward entries, and material tracking
- Coordinate with production, quality, and service teams for requirements
- Key Responsibilities:Monitor stock levels and avoid shortages/overstocking
- Raise purchase orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers
- Check material quality and quantity at the time of inward
- Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), stock register, and reports
- Handle vendor coordination, price negotiation, and delivery timelines
- Manage dispatch of materials to service centers/dealers
- Ensure proper storage and handling of EV components (especially batteries)
- Requirements:Graduate / Diploma (any stream; supply chain/logistics preferred)
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and purchasing
- Experience in automobile/EV spare parts handling preferred
- Familiarity with Excel / basic software for stock tracking
- Good coordination and negotiation skills
- Experience:2–5 years in store / purchase / inventory role preferred
