Tally Accountant

A Tally Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records, recording transactions, preparing financial reports, and managing accounting activities using Tally ERP/Tally Prime software. The role ensures accurate bookkeeping, tax compliance, and efficient financial management.

• Key ResponsibilitiesRecord daily financial transactions in Tally.
• Maintain purchase, sales, receipt, and payment entries.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Generate invoices, vouchers, and financial reports.
• Maintain ledgers, journals, and cash books.
• Prepare GST, VAT, TDS, and other tax-related reports (as applicable).
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Monitor inventory records and stock management in Tally.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support audits by providing required financial documents and reports.
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
• Required SkillsProficiency in Tally Prime/Tally ERP.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, payroll, and taxation.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Educational QualificationsBachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Tally certification is preferred.
• Additional certifications in accounting or taxation are advantageous.
