Job Description
About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to manage billing, accounting entries, reconciliations, customer follow-ups, and other Accounts Receivable related activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Tally, GST billing, invoicing processes, and reconciliation procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Billing & Invoicing
- Preparation and processing of E-Way Bills and E-Invoices
- Verification of invoices, credit notes, and debit notes as per PO and agreed commercial terms
- Recording and maintaining Credit/Debit Notes in Tally and Excel
- Coordination with internal departments and customers for billing-related matters
Accounting & Entries
- Passing daily sales and bank entries in Tally
- Maintaining accurate accounting records and documentation
- Assisting in day-to-day accounting operations and reporting activities
Accounts Receivable & Reconciliation
- Monitoring customer outstanding payments and short payments
- Conducting regular customer follow-ups for payment collection
- Performing periodic debtor and creditor reconciliations (Quarterly/Half-Yearly/Yearly)
- Identifying discrepancies and communicating through professional email correspondence
Coordination & Support
- Drafting quotations and following up with customers
- Supporting the Accounts Receivable team in routine accounting activities
- Performing other accounting-related assignments as directed by management
Skills & Competencies
- Required Working knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Excel
- Good understanding of GST Billing, E-Invoicing, and E-Way Bill processes
- Basic accounting and reconciliation knowledge
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
Preferred Candidate Profile
- B.Com graduate with 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience in Accounts Receivable and customer coordination preferred
- Familiarity with commercial documentation and payment follow-up processes
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and grow
