Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting & Design: Create detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD based on rough sketches, redlines, or specifications from architects and engineers.
  • Revision Management: Update and modify existing drawings based on site feedback, client requests, or changes in project scope.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (structural, electrical, plumbing) to ensure no clashes exist between different systems (clash detection).
  • Standardization: Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards (like ISO or local building codes), company layer protocols, and specific title block requirements.
  • Documentation: Prepare "As-Built" drawings upon project completion and maintain an organized library of digital files and revisions.
  • Material Take-offs: Occasionally assist in calculating material quantities and cost estimates based on the finalized drawings.
