About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and certified HCC Coder to join our Risk Adjustment Coding team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ICD-10-CM coding and a strong understanding of HCC coding methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Review and code medical records, including physician notes, discharge summaries, and encounter documentation using ICD-10-CM codes.

✅ Map diagnosis codes to HCC categories under CMS-HCC V24/V28 and RxHCC models.

✅ Ensure accuracy, specificity, and completeness of coded diagnoses to support RAF score calculations.

✅ Meet daily productivity and quality targets.

✅ Identify documentation gaps, discrepancies, and coding queries and coordinate with CDI/QA teams.

✅ Stay updated with CMS guidelines, AAPC/AHIMA updates, and payer-specific coding requirements.

✅ Participate in coding audits, calibration sessions, and training programs.

Required Qualifications

✔ Active certification: CRC (Preferred), CPC, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT

✔ Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines.

✔ Familiarity with CMS-HCC V24/V28 models and Risk Adjustment concepts.

✔ Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume medical record reviews.

✔ Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
