NOC/NMS Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced NOC/NMS Engineer with expertise in telecom transmission network operations, fault troubleshooting, NMS management, and circuit provisioning. The candidate should have hands-on experience with ECI, Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia, and Tejas NMS platforms and a strong understanding of transmission network architecture and circuit design.

Key Responsibilities· :   

 Perform L1/L2 troubleshooting of transmission and transport network issues.

·       Identify root causes of network faults and coordinate with field teams, operations teams, and OEMs for resolution.

·       Troubleshoot link failures, node outages, synchronization issues, service degradation, and fiber-related incidents.

·       Operate ECI NMS, Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia NMS, and Tejas TNMS.

·       Monitor network topology, service circuits, network elements, and link utilization.

·       Understand telecom circuit design and end-to-end service connectivity.

·       Support circuit provisioning, modification, rerouting, and restoration activities.

·       Participate in maintenance activities, upgrades, and planned outages.

·       Prepare operational reports and maintain SOPs and knowledge base documents.

Education :

B.E./B.Tech/ in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
