Project Engineer

Job Summary:

A Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects from order confirmation to final commissioning. The role involves managing project timelines, coordinating with internal departments and clients, ensuring technical compliance, and delivering projects on time while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute projects as per the approved schedule and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with design, production, purchase, quality, stores, and service departments for smooth project execution.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Prepare project schedules and monitor project progress.
• Conduct project kick-off meetings with internal teams.
• Track material availability and coordinate procurement for timely project completion.
• Ensure manufacturing and assembly activities are completed as per engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Coordinate factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) with clients.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and trial runs.
• Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, checklists, and completion reports.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding project status, milestones, and delivery schedules.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and engineering standards.
• Support the sales team with technical inputs whenever required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in project execution, preferably in industrial machinery or automation.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP software.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and engineering drawings is preferred.
• Willingness to travel for installation, commissioning, and client meetings.
