Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Telecommunication RF Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for software function testing, verification, and validation of RF-based LIG Accuver telecommunication products. This role involves ensuring the performance, quality, stability, and reliability of wireless communication solutions before customer deployment. The RF Engineer will collaborate closely with Technical Support Engineers (TSEs), the R&D team, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

RF Testing & Troubleshooting

• Perform software functional testing, verification, and validation of RF and wireless communication products.
• Test, troubleshoot, and validate RF equipment to ensure optimal functionality, performance, and product reliability.
• Utilize RF test instruments, analyzers, and drive testing tools to execute verification activities, analyze results, and prepare detailed test reports.
• Identify, reproduce, and escalate product issues while working with the R&D team to resolve technical problems.

Technical Documentation

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including test procedures, verification reports, release notes, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Execute test cases, document results, and submit verification reports with detailed observations and recommendations.
• Maintain records of product stability, defect history, and verification results to ensure product quality and traceability.

Research & Development

• Collaborate with the R&D team to evaluate new features, validate software enhancements, and improve RF testing methodologies.
• Participate in product improvement initiatives by providing technical feedback and identifying opportunities to enhance product quality and performance.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by developing efficient testing processes and automation where applicable.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Technical Support Engineers (TSEs), Project Managers, QA teams, and the R&D team to ensure smooth project execution and timely product releases.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate, reproduce, and resolve customer-reported issues.
• Participate in technical discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and product review meetings.

Technical Support

• Provide technical support to customers using the company's RF and wireless network optimization products.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve software- and RF-related issues by performing root cause analysis.
• Assist customers with product configuration, troubleshooting, and best practices to ensure successful deployment and operation.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in RF Engineering, Telecommunications, or Wireless Network Optimization.
• Hands-on experience with 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G NR technologies.
• Experience using RF testing instruments, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, drive testing tools, and wireless network testing equipment.
• Experience in software verification, product validation, or technical support for telecommunication products and AI utilization skills is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with RF optimization and drive testing tools such as XCAL, TEMS, Atoll, iBwave, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of wireless communication systems, RF propagation, radio optimization, and network performance analysis.
• Knowledge of telecommunication technologies and standards, including GSM, WCDMA (UMTS), LTE, 5G NR, and related protocols.
• Familiarity with log analysis, troubleshooting methodologies, and performance optimization techniques.

Communication Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare clear technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, technical teams, and management.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Technical Support Engineer (TSE)

A Technical Support Engineer (TSE) is responsible for providing technical assistance and troubleshooting support for telecommunication software and wireless network products.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and analyze wireless network performance issues using professional RF analysis and drive testing tools.
• Investigate network degradation, call quality issues, coverage problems, throughput issues, and protocol-related failures.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide effective technical solutions to customers.
• Coordinate with the R&D team to reproduce customer issues and validate software fixes.
• Prepare technical reports, troubleshooting documentation, and customer support records.
• Support customers during product deployment, testing, and post-release activities while ensuring timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
