Job Description
· Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
· Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with regular and prospective customers by demonstrating products, explain product features and get orders.
· Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
· Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms and maintain relationship for customer satisfaction and new opportunities.
· Estimate or involve in quotation of prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates in co-ordination with Sales Manager.
· Consult with customers after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
· Provide customers with product samples and catalogs if required.
· Identify prospective customers and following leads from existing clients.
· Prepare drawings and estimates that meet specific customer needs and connect to the Design department if needed or connect to design department for specific customer requirements.
· Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors' products, prices, and sales to identify product improvements and new products.
· Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
· Obtain credit information about prospective customers.
· Prepare sales contracts and order forms.
· Negotiate details of contracts and payments.
· Forward orders to design and production departments; if required with the help of Sales Manager.
· Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
· Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Support for installation and use, such as material handling equipment, numerical-control machinery, and computer systems.
· Document account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers.
· Develop, present or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
· Visit prospective buyers at commercial, industrial or other establishments to show samples or catalogs, and to inform them about product pricing, availability, and advantages.
Identify and manage collection in time and follow–up and close outstanding.
