Job Description
Assess and monitor patients' clinical condition and vital signs.
Provide nursing care as per the patient's treatment plan and doctor's instructions.
Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and other prescribed treatments safely.
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records.
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and clinical interventions.
Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly report abnormalities.
Ensure proper handover of patients and clinical information during shift changes.
Maintain patient dignity, privacy, comfort, and confidentiality.
Educate patients and relatives regarding nursing care, medication, hygiene, and discharge instructions.
Follow hospital infection-control, biomedical waste management, and patient-safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness, availability, and proper functioning of nursing equipment.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of hospital resources and supplies.
Participate in audits, training programs, drills, and quality-improvement activities.
