Department: Operations / Supply Chain

Reports To: Area Operations Manager / Operations Manager

Job SummaryThe Store Keeper is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of all raw materials, packaging, consumables, and equipment. The role ensures accurate stock records, compliance with FEFO/FIFO principles, proper storage conditions, and uninterrupted supplies to all café outlets.

  • Key Responsibilities1. Inventory ManagementReceive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP/POS system.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform the procurement team of reorder requirements.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock verification.
  • Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
  • 2. Stock IssuanceIssue raw materials and packaging materials to outlets as per approved requisitions.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of store inventory.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all stock movements.
  • 3. FEFO & Storage ComplianceFollow FEFO (First Expiring, First Out) for all perishable items.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions for dairy products, fruit pulps, syrups, chocolates, and other temperature-sensitive items.
  • Monitor deep freezer, chiller, and dry storage temperatures and maintain daily logs.
  • Segregate damaged, expired, or non-conforming materials.
  • 4. Documentation & Record KeepingMaintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), stock registers, issue slips, and transfer records.
  • Update inventory records on a real-time basis.
  • Prepare daily stock reports and monthly inventory summaries.
  • 5. Hygiene & SafetyEnsure cleanliness and organization of the store area.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Store products according to manufacturer recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs and safety guidelines.
  • 6. CoordinationCoordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Café Managers for stock planning.
  • Support inter-store stock transfers when required.
  • Assist during internal and external inventory audits.
  • Daily ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect incoming stock.
  • Record all inward and outward stock transactions.
  • Monitor stock levels and expiry dates.
  • Maintain FEFO compliance.
  • Check chiller and freezer temperatures.
  • Verify daily stock issuance.
  • Prepare end-of-day inventory reports.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and audit-ready.
  • Required QualificationsGraduate or Diploma in Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Store Keeper in a café, restaurant, QSR, FMCG, or food manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP/POS systems).
  • Knowledge of inventory management, FEFO/FIFO, and stock reconciliation.
