Job Description – UI/UX Design Faculty

Position Title: UI/UX Design Faculty

Location: Creative Animation Institute

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced UI/UX Design Faculty member to train students in industry-standard user interface and user experience design practices. The ideal candidate should have strong design skills, practical industry knowledge, and the ability to mentor students from beginner to advanced levels.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Training

Conduct engaging classroom and practical sessions on UI/UX Design.

Teach design fundamentals including:

• Design Principles
• Typography
• Color Theory
• Layout and Grid Systems
• Wireframing and Prototyping
• User Research and Personas
• Information Architecture
• Usability Testing
• Design Systems

Train students on industry tools such as:

• Figma
• Adobe XD
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator

Guide students in creating:

• Mobile App Designs
• Website Designs
• Interactive Prototypes
• Case Studies
• Portfolio Projects

Student Mentorship

• Review student assignments and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist students in developing job-ready portfolios.
• Conduct mock interviews and portfolio reviews.
• Support students with internship and placement preparation.

Curriculum Development

• Update course content according to current industry trends.
• Develop assignments, challenges, and real-world projects.
• Introduce students to modern UI/UX practices and tools.

Classroom Management

• Track attendance and student progress.
• Maintain a motivating and disciplined learning environment.
• Coordinate with the academic and placement teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Proficiency in Figma and other relevant design tools.
• Experience in designing web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly to students.
• Prior teaching or mentoring experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Design, Computer Science, Multimedia, or related field.
• 1–3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX Design.
• Teaching experience in an institute or training center.
• Portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects and case studies.

Software Knowledge Required

• Figma
• Adobe XD
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• HTML, CSS, and responsive design concepts.
