Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw video footage into finished, publish-ready content (reels, ads, YouTube videos, testimonials, product walkthroughs, etc.)

Add graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and background music as needed

Collaborate with the content/marketing team to understand video briefs and deliver within deadlines

Optimize videos for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, website, etc.)

Organize and maintain a library of raw footage, project files, and assets

Stay updated on video editing trends, formats, and platform-specific best practices

Assist with basic shoot planning or on-site filming support when required

Requirements

Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio/reel required)

Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro

Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics

Basic knowledge of motion graphics and color grading

Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines

Good communication skills and openness to feedback

Good to Have

Experience creating content specifically for real estate/construction/[your industry] brands

Basic photography or videography skills

Familiarity with social media trends and short-form content (Reels/Shorts)
