QA/QC Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled QA/QC Engineer to ensure strict quality compliance in High-Speed Rail (HSR) / Bullet Train projects. The role focuses on maintaining world-class quality standards in slab track systems, precast concrete elements, and associated rail infrastructure in line with international codes and client specifications (e.g., JICA / European standards).

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP), ITPs, and Method Statements for HSR works
• Ensure quality compliance in Slab Track Construction, Precast Segment Production, and Installation
• Perform inspection and testing of concrete works, reinforcement, embedded components, and track systems
• Monitor casting yard activities (precast sleepers, slabs, segments) and ensure adherence to approved mix designs
• Conduct stage-wise inspections:
• Reinforcement inspection
• Pre-pour & post-pour checks
• Dimensional accuracy of precast elements
• Coordinate with JART/JICA consultants, client representatives, and third-party inspectors
• Maintain detailed quality documentation, test reports, pour cards, and checklists
• Conduct internal audits, surveillance inspections, and quality trainings
• Ensure traceability of materials and processes across the project lifecycle
• Strong expertise in Slab Track Systems (RHEDA, ballastless track)
• Knowledge of Precast Concrete Technology & Production QA/QC
• Familiarity with High-Speed Rail standards and tolerances
• Understanding of Concrete Technology, Mix Design, and Testing (Cube Test, Slump, etc.)
• Proficiency in quality documentation and audit processes
• QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Certification in QA/QC, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (preferred)
• Experience2-3 years of experience in Railway / Metro / High-Speed Rail / Infrastructure Projects
• Hands-on experience in Precast Yard / Slab Track / Track Installation
