Accountant – Full Job Description

Location: Mohammadpur, Delhi Position: Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

1      Maintain daily accounting entries (sales, purchase, expenses, receipts, payments)

2      Manage billing and invoicing using software (Tally / Pet Pooja)

3      Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and handle GST compliance

4      Perform bank reconciliation and cash reconciliation regularly

5      Maintain stock records and inventory management

6      Conduct physical stock verification every 15 days and perform stock reconciliation

7      Prepare Profit & Loss statement, Balance Sheet, and financial reports

8      Track daily expenses and control unnecessary costs

9      Handle accounts payable and receivable (party ledger management)

10  Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR)

11  Manage TDS deduction, filing, returns, and reconciliation

12  Handle salary processing, payroll, and basic HR accounting work

13  Maintain vendor and supplier accounts

14  Assist in audits (internal/external)

15  Ensure all financial records are accurate and updated

16  

Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports 17 Support business decisionmaking with financial data
