Accountant

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reports. You will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the company by handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and monthly reconciliations.

• Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Month-End & Year-End Close: Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., sales tax, VAT, income tax) in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Audit Preparation: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving discrepancies.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring actual performance against budgets.
• Compliance: Ensure that financial transactions are recorded in compliance with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or improvements.
• Other Duties: Perform other accounting-related tasks as needed by the team.
