Accountant

Job Title: Accountant – SK Moulders

Location: SAMAYPUR BADLI

Industry: Manufacturing (OEM/ODM – Kitchenware & Wire Products)

Experience Required: 2–5 years (Manufacturing preferred)

Role Overview You’ll be responsible for end-to-end financial management of SK Moulders — not just bookkeeping, but ensuring compliance, cash flow control, and supporting business decisions. This is a core role, not a back-office formality.

• Key Responsibilities1. GST & Taxation Compliance (Critical Role)Monthly GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
• Handling GSTR-2B reconciliation and ITC claims
• Managing E-invoicing & E-way bills
• Ensuring proper HSN classification
• Responding to GST notices and audits
• Maintaining compliance under MSME Act (payment tracking)

2. Accounting & BookkeepingMaintain accurate books of accounts (Tally/Busy/ERP)

• Record all sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries
• Bank reconciliation on a regular basis
• Vendor & customer ledger management

3. Receivables & Payables ManagementTrack outstanding payments (Debtors follow-up)

• Ensure timely payments to suppliers
• Maintain credit cycle discipline
• Highlight risk accounts to management

4. Inventory & Cost Control (Very Important for Factory)Work with production team to track raw material & finished goods

• Maintain stock records & valuation
• Help in calculating product costing & margins
• Identify leakage, wastage, or inefficiencies

5. TDS & Other Statutory ComplianceDeduction & filing of TDS returns

• Handling PF, ESIC (if applicable)
• Compliance with Income Tax filings
• Coordination with CA for audits

6. Financial Reporting & MISPrepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow

• Generate MIS reports for decision-making
• Assist in budgeting & forecasting
• Provide insights on cost reduction and profitability

7. Banking & Cash Flow ManagementHandle OD accounts, loan documentation

• Monitor daily cash flow position
• Coordinate with banks for transactions and limits.

8. Audit & DocumentationMaintain proper documentation for:

• Purchases
• Sales
• Transport & logistics
• Assist in internal & external audits
• Ensure records are always audit-ready
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of GST & Indian taxation
• Hands-on experience with Tally / Busy / ERP
• Good understanding of manufacturing accounting
• Strong Excel skills (basic to intermediate)
• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
