Job Description

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee and manage the complete financial operations of our furniture manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, and supporting management with data-driven insights for decision-making .Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts (day-to-day transactions, journal entries, ledgers).
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions.
  • 2. Financial Reporting- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Generate Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide MIS reports and financial analysis to management.
  • Track cost structures, especially related to manufacturing, raw materials, and inventory.
  • 3. Payroll & Wage Management- Calculate and process employee salaries, wages, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws related to wages and employee benefits.
  • Maintain payroll records and handle employee reimbursements.
  • 4. Taxation & Compliance- Handle GST compliance, including preparation and filing of GST returns.
  • Manage Income Tax Return (ITR) filing for the company.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory regulations and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
  • 5. Budgeting & Cost Control - Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor expenses and suggest cost-control measures.
  • Analyze variances between actuals and budgets.
  • 6. Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting - Track inventory valuation, stock movements, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Work closely with production and procurement teams to ensure accurate costing.
  • Implement systems for efficient inventory accounting.
  • 7. Audit & Internal Controls- Prepare data and reports for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure strong internal financial controls and compliance systems.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.



  • Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/Inter CA/CPA preferred).
  • Minimum [X] years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or furniture industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and Indian accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
