Collection Executive / Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Telecollections Executive to manage overdue customer accounts through outbound calls. The role involves following up with customers for timely repayments, resolving payment-related queries, negotiating repayment plans where applicable, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to customers with overdue loan accounts.
• Follow up on pending payments and encourage timely repayments.
• Negotiate repayment plans within approved guidelines.
• Resolve customer queries related to outstanding dues.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment commitments.
• Meet daily calling, collection, and productivity targets.
• Escalate delinquent or unresolved accounts to the concerned team.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and company compliance standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams for payment updates and account resolution.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
• Minimum 6 months of experience in telecollections, preferably in Loan Collections (Commercial Vehicle, Used Car, Personal Loan, Gold Loan, Microfinance, or other retail lending products).
• Freshers may be considered only if specified by the employer.
• Required SkillsExcellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
• Customer-focused approach with strong persuasion skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and computer applications.
• Ability to work under pressure and achieve collection targets.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in BFSI, NBFC, or Banking collections.
• Familiarity with collection CRM and dialer systems.
• Knowledge of collection processes and delinquency management.
