Commis (Commi 1 / 2 / 3)

We are looking for a Commis 1 to join our new café. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing fast food and continental dishes, maintain food quality and hygiene, and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fast food and continental dishes as per recipes.
• Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Follow hygiene and food safety standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organised.
• Monitor stock and follow proper food storage (First In, First Out).
• Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team for timely order preparation.
• Assist in menu development and support junior staff when required.

Required Skills

• Experience in preparing burgers, sandwiches, wraps, fries, pizzas, pasta, salads, soups, grilled dishes, and breakfast items.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Good time management and teamwork.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy hours.

Preferred Experience

• 1–2 years of experience as a Commis or similar role.
• Experience in a café, restaurant.
• Knowledge of inventory management.
• Familiarity with menus and café-style food.
• Ability to maintain consistency during high-volume service.
