Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook Indian dishes such as curries, gravies, tandoor items, breads, and appetizers as per standard recipes.
- Assist in mise en place (cutting, chopping, marination, portioning).
- Support the Chef de Partie / Commis I in daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards as per FSSAI and company guidelines.
- Follow food safety, storage, and handling procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and inform seniors about shortages.
- Properly store ingredients and manage wastage.
- Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any faults.
- Assist in receiving and checking raw materials and supplies.
