EV Scooter Mechanic / Electric Two-Wheeler Service Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated EV Scooter Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain electric scooters. The technician will ensure all vehicles are serviced according to company standards while maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Typical responsibilities include diagnosing battery, motor, controller, charger, and electrical issues, as well as performing routine preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faults in electric scooters.

Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance.

Inspect and repair battery packs, motors, controllers, chargers, and wiring harnesses.

Use diagnostic tools to identify electrical and mechanical issues.

Replace defective parts and perform quality checks.

Test ride vehicles after repairs to ensure proper performance.

Maintain service records, job cards, and repair reports.

Follow workshop safety procedures and EV high-voltage safety guidelines.

Support customers by explaining repairs and maintenance recommendations.

Keep the workshop clean and organized.

Required Qualifications

ITI/Diploma in Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.

1–3 years of experience in two-wheeler or EV service (freshers with EV training may also apply).

Basic understanding of EV components and electrical systems.

Valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
