Floor Staff

Role & Job Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a polite and professional manner
• Guide customers regarding products, prices, and offers
• Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the store area
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked and products are properly displayed
• Monitor product expiry dates and remove damaged items
• Handle billing, cash collection, and POS machine operations
• Assist customers with product selection and purchase decisions
• Support daily store operations and sales activities
• Receive, unload, and organize incoming stock
• Maintain inventory records and report stock shortages to management
• Coordinate with warehouse and purchase teams for stock availability
• Ensure proper tagging and labeling of products
• Help in promotional activities and seasonal product displays
• Resolve customer complaints and provide quick solutions
• Maintain discipline and follow company rules and safety standards
• Work closely with team members to achieve sales targets
• Ensure smooth opening and closing of the store during shifts
• Monitor customer movement to prevent product damage or theft
• Maintain a friendly and positive environment for customers
• Prepare daily sales and stock reports when required
• Assist senior staff and managers in operational tasks
• Ensure all products are arranged according to company standards
• Handle customer returns and exchanges as per company policy
• Support home delivery or packing activities when required
• Perform multitasking duties during busy hours and festivals
• Maintain grooming and professional behavior during working hours
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines in the workplace
