Job Description:

A Grinding Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining grinding machines used in the manufacturing of bearing components. The role requires ensuring precision, maintaining product quality, and following production schedules while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC or conventional grinding machines for bearing components such as inner rings, outer rings, rollers, and races.
• Set up machines, adjust grinding parameters, and perform tool changes as required.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
• Measure finished components using precision instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gauges, and dial gauges.
• Ensure components meet dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and quality specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication.
• Identify and report machine faults or quality issues to the supervisor.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), 5S practices, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Maintain production records and inspection reports.
• Work closely with the quality and maintenance teams to achieve production targets.
