Hardware & Network Engineer

Position: IT Support Executive

Job Responsibilities

Testing and configuration of security equipment such as:

• CCTV Cameras & NVR/DVR Systems (CMS/VMS Configuration)
• Alarm Systems
• Biometric / Face / Fingerprint Readers
• Boom Barriers, Flap Barriers, Turnstiles, etc.
• Provide technical support to field technicians through phone, remote access, and online platforms.
• Demonstrate products and solutions to clients whenever required.
• Install, download, configure, and update software related to security systems.
• Perform firmware upgrades and software updates for devices and controllers.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software-related technical issues.
• Assist in system integration and basic network configuration.
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for technical support and issue resolution.
• Maintain records of testing, configurations, software versions, and support activities.
• Support commissioning and post-installation activities.
• Understand and work on device management software, attendance software, VMS and CMS, access control software, and related applications.
• Ensure timely closure of technical issues and service requests.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Basic understanding of Networking and IP-based systems.
• Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems, and Biometric Devices.
• Familiarity with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to understand technical manuals and product documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Remote support handling capability.
• Basic computer hardware and software troubleshooting knowledge.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and products.
