The Role

You will own the design process from concept to handover. This is not a purely creative role — you will be expected to understand materials, costs, and site realities as well as you understand aesthetics. You'll work directly with the projects team and report to the Projects Head.

What You'll Do

• Develop concept presentations, mood boards, and design intent documents for retail and commercial fit-outs
• Produce working drawings — plans, elevations, sections, details — using AutoCAD and/or SketchUp
• Prepare and review BOQs in coordination with the estimation team; understand what things cost
• Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and MEP contractors during execution
• Visit sites regularly; identify and resolve design-execution gaps on the ground
• Liaise with clients for design approvals and change management
• Support the business development team with presentation decks and visual proposals

What We're Looking For

• B.Arch / B.Des / Diploma in Interior Design from a recognised institution
• 2–5 years of experience in retail interiors, fit-outs, or commercial design (agency or contractor side preferred)
• Strong command of AutoCAD; working knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, or equivalent
• Ability to read and mark up architectural drawings
• Familiarity with Indian material markets — laminates, veneers, glass, hardware, MEP basics
• Comfortable on construction sites
• Sharp communication — written and verbal

Bonus Points

• Experience working with brands (fashion, electronics, lifestyle, F&B)
• Exposure to BOQ preparation or project estimation
• Knowledge of Revit or BIM workflows
