About the Role

Fiberblaze Private Limited is looking for a skilled and dedicated Optical Fiber Splicer to join our technical team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our network reliability, ensuring seamless internet connectivity for our customers in the Dwarka Mor and Najafgarh regions. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, physically active, and committed to maintaining high standards of network integrity.

• Key ResponsibilitiesFiber Splicing: Perform precision fusion splicing of fiber optic cables for new installations and maintenance of existing infrastructure.
• Fault Troubleshooting: Identify, locate, and repair fiber breaks, signal degradation, and other connectivity issues within the field.
• Installation: Assist in the installation of ODFs (Optical Distribution Frames), patch panels, and drop cables at customer premises.
• Site Maintenance: Perform routine checks on fiber routes and distribution boxes in the assigned region to ensure operational efficiency.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of splicing activities, material usage, and incident reports.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with the central technical team to report status updates and resolve high-priority outages effectively.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience in fiber splicing and cable handling.

Prior experience working with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or telecommunications company is highly preferred.

• Transportation: Candidates must possess a valid driving license and a personal bike. This is essential for traveling across the assigned service areas.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer), power meters, and fiber cleavers.
• Regional Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the geography of the Dwarka Mor and Najafgarh areas is a significant advantage.
• Skills: Ability to work in outdoor environments, handle small components with precision, and troubleshoot complex technical issues on-site.
• Work Environment & BenefitsWorking Days: Monday to Saturday (Sunday off).
• Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Salary Cycle: Salary will be credited on the 10th of every month.
• Conveyance: Company will provide reimbursement for fuel/conveyance expenses incurred while performing field duties.
• Location Advantage: Based at our office in Patel Garden, Dwarka Mor.
