Position OverviewThe Outreach Officer will play a key role in supporting the organization’s fundraising objectives by securing free permissions to set up fundraising and awareness booths in high-footfall locations. These include corporate tech parks, retail chains (e.g., Big Bazaar, Decathlon), educational institutions, and public events. The individual will be responsible for building partnerships with external stakeholders and ensuring effective coordination of on-ground fundraising activities.

Key Responsibilities1. Corporate and Retail Outreach·      Identify and evaluate suitable venues including IT parks, shopping malls, retail outlets, and public event spaces for fundraising initiatives.

·      Initiate and maintain communication with corporate and retail stakeholders, CSR departments, marketing managers, and facility administrators.

·      Secure required permissions for setting up fundraising kiosks at no cost to the organization.

·      Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key location partners to ensure recurring collaboration.

2. Event Coordination·      Coordinate logistical requirements for fundraising setups in approved locations.

·      Ensure timely availability of branding materials, donor kits, and engagement tools at event sites.

·      Collaborate with internal departments (Admin, Creative, Operations) to ensure efficient execution of all outreach activities.

3. Support to Fundraising Team·      Work closely with the Face-to-Face Fundraising team to ensure high-traffic venues are consistently available.

·      Act as an on-ground support during fundraising events, ensuring adherence to organizational protocols and ethical practices.

·      Represent the organization professionally while engaging with donors and partners at events.

4. Reporting and Documentation·      Maintain updated records of outreach efforts, permissions secured, and key stakeholder contacts.

·      Track the status, duration, and terms of use for each confirmed venue.

·      Provide timely and accurate weekly reports to the line manager on outreach progress and planned activities.

Qualifications & Experience·      Graduate in any discipline; preference for degrees in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, or Public Relations.

·      1 to 3 years of relevant experience in outreach, business development, event coordination, sales, or fundraising.

·      Prior experience working with NGOs or securing permissions for marketing/fundraising activities is highly desirable.

·      Strong networking and relationship management capabilities.

·      Confidence in engaging with senior-level professionals and external stakeholders.

·      Good organizational and time management abilities.

·      Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with basic reporting tools.

·      Willingness to travel locally within Bangalore for outreach and event coordination.

Preferred Attributes·      Familiarity with fundraising campaigns and donor engagement strategies.

·      Previous experience in Face-to-Face fundraising or marketing activations.

·      Fluency in English , Telgu and Kannada (or other regional languages as applicable).

·      Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
