Production Supervisor

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily garment manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met. This role involves managing shop floor workers, optimizing workflow, maintaining efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the shop floor
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan
• Monitor line efficiency, productivity, and workflow optimization
• Manage and guide operators, helpers, and line leaders
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and minimize defects/rework
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams
• Monitor machine utilization and reduce downtime
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain production reports, MIS, and daily performance records
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and company policies
• Train and mentor workers to improve skill levels and efficiency

• Key Requirements Education:
• Graduation
• Strong knowledge of garment production processes (cutting, stitching, finishing)
• Familiarity with industrial sewing machines and production lines
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Ability to handle production pressure and meet deadlines
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, production tracking systems)
