Job Title: Restaurant Cashier

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-friendly Restaurant Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. The Restaurant Cashier will manage billing operations, process cash/card/UPI payments, maintain daily sales records, and coordinate with the service and kitchen staff for smooth order processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them during billing and payment.
• Generate bills and ensure accurate order entry into the POS system.
• Accept payments through cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payment methods.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change where applicable.
• Maintain proper records of daily transactions and cash reconciliation.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff to resolve customer billing concerns.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the billing counter area.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and courteously.
• Follow company policies related to cash handling and customer service.

Requirements:

• Basic computer and POS billing software knowledge.
• Minimum qualification: 10+2 or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong numerical and cash-handling abilities.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
• Prior experience in restaurants, cafés, or retail billing is preferred.
