Job Description

Key Responsibilities

•    Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities into confirmed orders.

•    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, dealers, and channel partners.

•    Prepare quotations, price offers, and follow up with clients for order conversion.

•    Coordinate with production, logistics, and dispatch teams to ensure timely order execution.

•    Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as assigned by the management.

•    Conduct client visits, site visits, and field market surveys whenever required.

•    Maintain accurate MIS reports, Excel trackers, and daily/weekly sales updates.

•    Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

•    Ensure timely payment follow-ups and support smooth collection processes.

Required Skills & Competencies

•    Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

•    Proven ability to generate leads and close deals independently.

•    Good understanding of the steel/iron and construction materials market.

•    Experience in dealer, project, or industrial sales preferred.

•    Target-oriented mindset with strong sales drive.

•    Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic reporting tools.

•    Familiarity with WhatsApp Business and basic ERP systems is an advantage.

•    Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred).

•    1–3 years of experience in sales (preferably in steel, cement, building materials, or industrial products).

•    Fresher with strong communication and interest in sales may also be considered.
