Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the complete accounting operations of the company.

Supervise and guide the accounts team and allocate daily tasks.

Finalize books of accounts, prepare financial statements, and MIS reports.

Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.

Handle Income Tax notices, assessments, departmental queries, and coordinate with consultants.

Ensure compliance with the Companies Act and other applicable corporate laws.

Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, auditors, banks, and government authorities.

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, reconciliations, and cash flow.

Monitor budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.

Verify payroll, statutory deductions, and compliance.

Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation.

Handle internal and statutory audits.

Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.

Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.

Required Skills:

Excellent knowledge of Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting.

Strong expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC compliances, and the Companies Act.

Experience in handling Income Tax notices and assessments.

Leadership skills to manage the complete accounts department and junior staff.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
