Senior Accountant

Job SummaryThe Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the complete accounting function of Jiyo Raw, including bookkeeping, GST compliance, TDS, vendor payments, inventory accounting, financial reporting, banking, and statutory compliance. The role requires strong knowledge of retail, FMCG, manufacturing, and inventory-based accounting.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & BookkeepingMaintain accurate books of accounts in Tally/ERP.
• Record all sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
• Perform daily bank reconciliation.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital.
• GST & TaxationPrepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Return).
• Reconcile GST data with purchase and sales records.
• Ensure timely TDS deduction and return filing.
• Coordinate with CA for audits and tax matters.
• Vendor & Customer AccountingVerify vendor invoices and process payments.
• Reconcile supplier and customer ledgers.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Maintain payment schedules and aging reports.
• Inventory & Stock AccountingReconcile physical stock with accounting records.
• Monitor inventory valuation and stock movement.
• Coordinate with warehouse and showroom teams.
• Track wastage, shortages, and stock adjustments.
• Financial ReportingPrepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
• Generate MIS reports for management.
• Analyze sales, expenses, margins, and profitability.
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Compliance & AuditMaintain statutory records and documentation.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
• Experience in inventory and FMCG accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and team management abilities.
• QualificationsB.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter preferred.
• 5–10 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, or Distribution businesses preferred.
