Synfra is building a digital marketplace for construction equipment rental, sales, and leasing. Our goal is to bring structure, transparency, and efficiency to a highly fragmented industry through a tech-first approach.


Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Head of Technology to build and scale Synfra’s platform from the ground up. This is a 0→1 role, requiring a strong builder who can own the entire tech stack, drive rapid development using lean teams and AI tools, and translate business workflows into scalable technology solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of web and mobile platforms (Android & iOS)
  • Architect scalable, secure, and API-first systems
  • Own Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and translate business needs into tech execution
  • Build and integrate core workflows (onboarding, listings, bookings, payments, ratings, logistics)
  • Integrate APIs, payment gateways, KYC, and third-party services
  • Set up and manage cloud infrastructure, databases, and DevOps pipelines
  • Build and lead a lean, high-performing tech team
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and deployment
  • What We’re Looking For
  • 8–15 years of experience in software development, with leadership exposure
  • Proven experience in building platforms from scratch (startup or 0→1
  • environments)
  • Strong expertise in mobile app development (Android & iOS) and full-stack
  • systems
  • Experience with APIs, payment integrations, and scalable architecture
  • Hands-on coding ability with modern tech stacks (Node.js / Python / React / Flutter / Cloud)
  • Ability to convert business workflows into tech architecture
