Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
• Delivery Leadership: Lead end-to-end execution of Labour Code Readiness Audits, multi-state compliance health checks, CTC restructuring, and notice-response engagements.
• Technical Advisory: Advise clients on PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus, S&E, Factories Act, CLRA, POSH, and the four Labour Codes; draft opinions, memos, and policy documents.
• Compliance Operations: Manage statutory registrations, return filings, and portal operations (EPFO, ESIC, Shram Suvidha, state labour/PT portals); oversee CTC/payroll structuring in line with the Code on Wages.
• Litigation Support: Draft responses to Section 7A/7B/14B, ESIC, and labour department notices; coordinate with counsel on appellate matters.
• Client Acquisition: Accompany partners on prospect pitches and progressively lead discovery meetings; own 5–10 assigned prospect accounts; convert inbound leads to proposals.
• Content & Visibility: Co-author monthly technical articles, co-host webinars, and represent Plutus at HR/CFO roundtables and industry forums across NCR.
• Team Leadership: Mentor 2–4 associates/article clerks; review their work; build SOPs, templates, and internal knowledge assets.
Must-Have
• Statutory depth: Deep working knowledge of PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages, S&E (multi-state), Factories Act, CLRA, Maternity Benefit, POSH, PT and LWF across 5+ states.
• Portal fluency: Hands-on experience operating EPFO, ESIC, Shram Suvidha, and state labour/PT portals; comfortable with UAN/ECR operations, challan processing, and digital return filings.
• Delivery ownership: Proven ability to manage 5+ simultaneous client engagements with minimal partner supervision.
Strong-to-Have
• Demonstrated client work on Labour Codes readiness assessments post-November 2025.
• Multi-state compliance exposure for organizations with 500+ employees.
• Existing relationships with HR heads, CFOs, or payroll leaders in NCR mid-market.
• Prior work in IT/ITES, manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, healthcare, financial services, or hospitality sectors.
• Exposure to payroll/HRIS platforms — Keka, greytHR, Zoho Payroll, Darwinbox, PeopleStrong.
