Job Description
A Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales targets, managing dealership or field sales teams, and executing marketing strategies. Typical duties include tracking walk-ins, ensuring high lead-to-test-ride conversion rates, managing inventory, and handling post-delivery customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet or exceed monthly volume targets.
- Lead Conversion: Track digital inquiries, showroom walk-ins, and test-ride bookings to optimize sales closures.
- Channel Management: Build relationships with local dealers, distributors, and financial institutions to facilitate two-wheeler financing.
- Inventory & Stock: Maintain correct vehicle stock levels, oversee spare parts availability, and manage display vehicles.
Typical Qualifications
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years in automotive sales (premium two-wheelers, luxury retail, or auto finance) with proven team-handling experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, target-driven mindset, and proficiency in local market analysis.
