About MohurMohur is a premium Indian couture label creating luxury lehengas, gowns, corsets and occasion wear. We are looking for skilled tailors who are passionate about craftsmanship and luxury garment construction.
This is not a factory stitching job. Every garment is designer-made with attention to detail and finishing.
- ResponsibilitiesStitch designer samples from patterns provided by the Pattern Master.
- Construct luxury garments with high-quality finishing.
- Stitch:
- Bridal Lehengas
- Corset Blouses
- Designer Blouses
- Gowns
- Shararas
- Gararas
- Jackets
- Capes
- Indo-Western Outfits
- Handle fittings and alterations.
- Ensure excellent inside and outside finishing.
- Maintain stitching quality throughout garment construction.
- Work with delicate and premium fabrics.
- Coordinate with designers and pattern master during sample development.
- Deliver garments within production timelines.
Requirements✔ Minimum 3 years experience in women's designer wear.
✔ Should know how to stitch:
- Corsets
- Princess-cut blouses
- Padded blouses
- Designer sleeves
- Structured garments
- Flared lehengas
- Gowns
✔ Comfortable working with:
- Silk
- Organza
- Chiffon
- Satin
- Crepe
- Velvet
- Net
- Tissue
✔ Good understanding of:
- Luxury finishing
- Seam allowances
- Lining
- Interlining
- Bias cutting
- Neat hemming
- Invisible zippers
- Hooks and closures
Preferred Experience
Candidates who have worked with:
- Designer Boutiques
- Bridal Studios
- Couture Houses
- Export Houses
- Premium Fashion Brands
Experience with brands like Kalki, Frontier Raas, Seema Gujral, Anita Dongre, Jade, Papa Don't Preach or similar boutiques is an advantage.
