Video Editor

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience to join Knot Just Pictures LLP. The ideal candidate must have strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, and should be comfortable handling end-to-end editing — from raw footage to final polished output.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos for various projects
• Add motion graphics, visual effects, and transitions using After Effects
• Perform color correction, color grading, and audio syncing/mixing
• Work closely with the creative/production team to understand project briefs and deliver on time
• Organize and manage project files, footage, and assets efficiently
• Stay updated with current editing trends, styles, and techniques
• Make revisions based on client/team feedback within set timelines
• Ensure final output meets quality standards for various platforms (social media, broadcast, web, etc.)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience
• Mandatory hands-on knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
• Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics
• Working knowledge of color grading tools (Lumetri / similar)
• Basic understanding of motion graphics and VFX compositing
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively
• A strong portfolio/demo reel is a must
